In this course, Dr. Sendrowski addresses the fact that primary eye care physicians encounter ocular disease disorders in the adult population on a routine basis in their offices. His primary focus is the fact that pediatric ocular disease presents and may give concern of an ocular disorder which may be a harbinger of a more serious condition and that should not be missed on examination. The author reviews common ocular disorders that the eye care physician may encounter within the pediatric population. Common pitfalls the practitioner may face and the decision-making process one might utilize with this particular patient population are also discussed.
